John and I are an older couple...in our late 30s...and have been busy over the past seven years building a huge nest egg in order to buy a nice home here in NJ. We've only taken long weekends for "vacation" and would like to finally take a nice, long, well-deserved honeymoon/vacation after our wedding this fall before we get started on our family. Since we have been together for such a long time, we will try to have children very soon after our wedding. We want to take a "fantasy" vacation alone before we have children. We have both dreamed of going to Hawaii for years and find this to be a golden opportunity.
No hard luck story here or anything exceedingly creative. Just an honest few words of why we would love to get away to such a beautiful place before the kids get here!
