My Fiance Brian and I are not only a couple, we are best friends.  We have been friends for over 8 years, and we have only been a couple for 4.  I still get butterflies when I think of him.  He is very supportive of anything I set my heart and mind to.  About 2 years ago I decided to discuss the idea of adopting my 12 year old neice.  Well, I thought he would have ran scared to the other side of the country.  But no, he stood by me.  To ask a man to invite a teenage girl to our home and in our hearts and have him say yes, made me fall in love with him all over.  Since then, she has lived with us, and we are in the last stages of adoption.  We are quite the family.  Neither him or I are actually old enough to biologiccaly be her parents, but we have made the best of it.  She is now 14, he is 31, and I am 25.  So not only are we a 21st Century couple, we are a 21st Century Family.
